Safety & Continuing Education

SAFETY: RDU Paving exceeds all local, state, and federal safety requirements and maintains OSHA Department of Labor 30 hour certification. RDU Paving’s key employees possess OSHA 10 or OSHA 30, and are First-Aid/CPR Certified.  Weekly safety meetings are conducted to ensure all employees follow safety guidelines. Chris Lundholm is the Safety Director and ensures that all RDU Paving employees adhere to our safety manual guidelines and regulations. 

CONTINUING EDUCATION: RDU Paving, Inc. is serious about maintaining the highest standard of work. RDU Paving attends the National Pavement Expo annually and takes classes held by the Asphalt Institute. Employees regularly attend classes locally, taking advantage of our proximity to stellar institutions such as NC State University in Raleigh and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Employees also enroll in numerous classes offered by the North Carolina Department of Transportation and the Small Business and Technology Development Center. These courses allow us to stay current with the best paving products and implement the most effective paving techniques.
